WILLIAM A. MCGUGIN

William A. McGugin is the President and CEO of REIT Investment Group, LLC. Mr. McGugin was previously with Covenant Capital Group, a real estate private equity firm, with $300 million of equity invested in apartment projects. Mr. McGugin holds the Series 7, 24, 27, 63 and 79 securities license designations.

JOHN F. JACQUES

John F. Jacques is Chairman of the Board of REIT Investment Group. Mr. Jacques has over 30 years of experience. In 1970 he co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Jacques-Miller, Inc., which raised over $500 million from investors for real estate investments. In 1990 Jacques-Miller was sold to Insignia Financial Group, Inc., a NYSE firm, where he served as a senior executive and a member of the Board of Directors.

MICHAEL A. KOBAN, JR.

Michael A. Koban, Jr. is a Director of REIT Investment Group. Mr. Koban has over 30 years of experience in the health care field and was a co-founder and CEO of NetCare Health Systems, Inc., an owner and operator of acute care hospitals with $250 million of revenue. Prior to that, Mr. Koban served as a member of the Board of Directors and as Senior Vice President – Finance of HealthTrust, Inc., a multibillion-dollar NYSE hospital management company, and as Treasurer of Hospital Corporation of America.

GEORGE B. MCGUGIN

George B. McGugin is Managing Director of REIT Investment Group and is responsible for developing and servicing relationships with individual investors. Mr. McGugin was a distinguished civil trial attorney in Nashville, Tennessee for over 40 years primarily engaged in the defense of aviation, product liability and professional malpractice litigation.  He is a past-President of the International Association of Defense Counsel and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. 

RICHARD T. GERNERT, JR.

Richard T. Gernert, Jr. is Managing Director of REIT Investment Group. Mr. Gernert has over 30 years of financial services experience as a founding partner of Forsch Corporation, an Atlanta-based acquisitions company; Vice President – Business Development of EDS Corp.; and Managing Director of Koch Ventures, an early-stage venture capital company. He also held financial advisor positions with national private wealth companies. Mr. Gernert holds the Series 7, 63, and 79 securities license designations.

MAGGIE A. BARNHART

Ms. Barnhart is responsible for overall compliance of the firm.  She has over 24 years of experience in the investment industry.   Ms. Barnhart was previously with Cambridge Equity Advisors, Inc and Cambridge Way, Inc, an SEC registered investment advisory firm and a FINRA registered broker-dealer.   She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds the Series 7, 24, 27,53,63,65, and Tennessee Life and Health Insurance License.

ASHLEY L. HOLLOWAY

Mrs. Holloway is responsible for the overall accounting of the firm.  She was previously employed as the controller for Secure Air Charter, LLC, a private air charter company; and then an auditor for Frasier Dean & Howard, PLLC, a public accounting firm.  Mrs. Holloway is a graduate of Samford University and holds an active CPA license in the state of Tennessee.  She is currently a member of the Tennessee Society of CPA’s, the AICPA, and the Junior League of Murfreesboro.
